Is verification really always free?
Yes. Verification is a public good. There is no rate limit on POST /v1/verify and no account is required to verify content.
What happens if I hit my signing quota?
On the free tier, new signing requests are blocked once you hit 500/month. Paid plans allow overage at a per-signature rate. You can upgrade at any time with no downtime.
Do you store the content I sign?
No. Certivu stores only SHA-3 content hashes and provenance records — never the content itself. Your images, audio, text, or video never leave your infrastructure.
Can Certivu detect AI content without a signature?
No, and we don't claim to. Certivu verifies signed provenance when present. Absence of provenance data does not imply human origin.
